The Macbeth Sessions
2021–22 — San Marino, Senigallia — Real-time digital scenography, Public Performance, Final project
The project The Macbeth Sessions, realised by the students of the Digital Experience Lab, directed by Daniele Tabellini and Irene Trotta, at UNI.RSM.DESIGN, consists of an open source software tool for real-time visual creation.
Thanks to a generative and expressive approach, The Macbeth Sessions makes it possible to compose extemporaneous visual stories, live, during the theatrical performance, to accompany the text and acting. The project was created to bring to life the digital scenography of Shakespeare's Macbeth, staged by the classical theatre workshop of the Liceo Perticari in Senigallia, at the Teatro La Fenice in June 2022.
